MEANING AND PURPOSE

Made of split bamboo and soft papyrus, this huye basket hold itself with elegance and local charm. Handmade by artisans in the the village of Huye in Rwanda, it will bring a cultural and natural style to your home. This basket and its design is part of the deep rooted traditions of the Rwandan culture, as they were used to hold the reapings of the harvest.

Our jumbo Huye basket can be used as shelf decoration, as a stylish storage solution, or as a set to display together in different rooms of your home. Meaningfully and purposefully designed.
